Helge Adam comes from Hanover. He started to play the classical piano when he was seven years old and later discovered his passion for jazz, which would determine his career. He studied music education at Hanover University of Music and Drama with piano as his major. Later the electric bass followed as his minor.

Live on stage as well as in the studio he is a musician in great demand and has already shared the stage with famous stars. In addition, he leads the Hanover Big Band Swing-o-matic. Together with Robert Hunecke-Rizzo he composed, arranged and played the music for the latest "Autostadt"-trailer 2009/2010.

As a bass player he played several gigs in Georgia and North Carolina (USA) together with meike and Christian Prescher (on drums) in the spring of 2004, among others the Atlanta Dogwood Festival.

On "live love travel free" you can hear Helge on keyboard and piano. Particularly outstanding are his performances on "When Stars are Falling" and "Casino."
