Even though the New Year started a while ago we would like to give our best wishes for 2015 to all of you! May 2015 be a healthy, loving, peaceful but also inspiring, fun, exciting and successful year for all of us!

SPECIAL THANXS to everybody who donated at meike's concerts for "Doctors Without Borders" (since August). We were able to pass on your donations of several hundred Euros to this great organisation and of course want to continue our sale "Tattoos for Doctors Without Borders" this year!

We're looking forward to many more soulful and groovy concerts with you this year and hope you will continue to buy tattoos!

Following the motto "every little bit counts" we want to support an excellent and important project. You probably already know that every Seefahrerherz CD comes with an original Seefahrerherz tattoo. Starting now you will be able to buy additional tattoos at Meike's concerts and via mail order (as long as supplies last). All proceeds will go to the international relief organization "Doctors Without Borders".

At concerts there will also be a donation box on the merchandise table for those who want to donate more, as well as information about the organization. For mail orders, please send an email to eamp(a)evesapple.de.

The title song from Meike’s album of the same name made it onto a new sampler called “Fräulein Wunder – Edition Damenwahl” (“Miss Miracle – Ladies’ Choice Edition”) by Edel Records. The compilation has 18 titles by artists such as Katharina Franck (ex Rainbirds), Jasmin Tabatabai, Sophie Hunger, Kitty Hoff and Pat Appleton, and is available as a download or on CD in shops. Also on the CD is a title by the Cristin Class Trio, who were special guests at Meike’s concert in Braunschweig last year.

Meike's album Seefahrerherz was selectetd as the "Best (German language) CD-Album of the Year 2011" by the "Deutsche Popstiftung" (German Pop Foundation).

We are immensely happy to announce that we have four more very special guests at the concert in the Kulturzelt in Braunschweig on Sep. 19. The string quartett around Josef Ziga of the Staatstheater Braunschweig accepted the invitation of meike and her band and will join them for at least one song, as they did already on her new album Seefahrerherz.
